Accessibility approach

Commitment

Digital accessibility is a voluntary commitment: making the site usable by as many people as possible, whatever their hardware, software or situation.

The guidelines taken into account are the RGAA 4.1.2 (the French accessibility framework).

Measures already in place

• Semantic HTML and a consistent heading structure.
• Full keyboard navigation.
• Visible focus on interactive elements.
• Careful colour contrast; information never conveyed by colour alone.
• Reduced animation according to the “prefers-reduced-motion” preference.
• Text alternatives for meaningful elements.
• Essential functionality working without JavaScript.

Conformance status

The alaintardif.fr website is fully compliant with RGAA 4.1.2: 100% of the applicable criteria are met (67 of 67 applicable criteria conformant, 39 not applicable).

Audit carried out in-house on 15 July 2026.

Methodology and tools

• Guidelines: RGAA 4.1.2.
• Audit date: 15 July 2026; audit carried out in-house.
• Automated tests: axe-core 4.10.2 and WCAG contrast measurements.
• Code validation: W3C Nu HTML Checker (0 errors, 0 warnings across all rendered templates).
• Manual tests: full keyboard navigation; 200% zoom and reflow at 320px.
• Screen reader: tested on Windows with Edge and NVDA.
• Six themes tested (Blue, Green, Aubergine × light and dark), in French and English.

• Home, Profile, Skills, Projects, Contact.
• Legal notice, Privacy, Accessibility, Sitemap, 404 page.
• Cross-cutting components: header, footer, contact form, project galleries.

The anomalies found during the audit were corrected and retested: no non-accessible content is identified to date. No exemption is invoked.
